How many times and from how many people do you need to hear that it was Israel that dragged us into war with Iran for you to get it through your skull that we are no longer in control over our own country and are instead held hostage by a parasitic foreign tribe that blackmails, bribes, and brainwashes our people and leaders?

@thedimitri @DEI4WhiteGuys Saint Benedic threw himself naked in to a briar patch because he was afraid of losing the temptation battle with his body's hormones. Today's heros are not the same.

> Harvey Milk fucked an underage homeless boy > MLK cheated on his wife and was allegedly present during a rape > Malcolm X pimped and beat women > Gandhi slept next to teens to "test his willpower" > Cesar Chavez raped young girls Is there a single civil rights icon who isn't a sexual predator?
Shane Goldmacher@ShaneGoldmacher

MUST READ: A bombshell NYT investigation shows that Cesar Chavez sexually abused young girls. Dolores Huerta also discloses for first time that that Chavez raped her. So much more from Manny Fernandez and Sarah Hurtes —> nytimes.com/2026/03/18/us/…

Moderators of the r/Linux subreddit are now censoring posts which talk about Age Verification. Not only are posts being removed, but I’ve heard from multiple Reddit users who have been banned from r/Linux for expressing opposition to Age Verification.

@kelo6102 @philip_dath @sitiosguau Dude, I'm responding to your specific statements. I'm not "pivoting". Ask me a specific, single question and I will give you a specific, single answer. This is Twitter. I'm having to be concise, and I'm on mobile.

The reason we know dinosaurs existed, and were wiped out by an asteroid, is that no matter where you dig in the world, you’ll find a distinct layer of clay. All dinosaur fossils are found below this layer, and never above it! This layer has iridium that is very rare on earth but found in asteroids. It is called K-T (Short for Cretaceous-Tertiary) boundary

@kelo6102 @philip_dath @sitiosguau To put something like an NFT on chain, you had to bribe Marathon. This is because it violates the standard block template and filters. Core v30 opened this door wide open, so now, there's no barrier at all.

@Brandonwords @philip_dath @sitiosguau what is the spectrum of difficulty? there was no requirement for bribing a miner. aslong as there is even a minority of well connected nodes that are willing to relay the txs. it will pretty much always get to miners. sub sat summer proved this.

@kelo6102 @philip_dath @sitiosguau This is a straw man. You can't just magically "put data on chain." There is a spectrum of difficulty. Until core v30, it required bribing marathon to craft a special block just for you, and then you had to wait a random amount of time until they won a block. v30 removed this.

what are you even talking about. your coming outta left field. whats this hypothetical business that can be destroyed overnight by a soft fork? me and you can reject spam. but if someone pays they can get data onchain either way. now it all comes down to, do you want this data to be more harmful for me and you to store or less harmful? because regardless if there is demand to put data onchain. it will go onchain anyways. no softfork can stop that.

Ultraprocessed food isn't a coherent scientific concept and the attempts to formalize it have been a joke, as with the scale used in this study. Slice a potato and bake it: Unprocessed (Group 1) Slice a potato and fry it: "Ultraprocessed" (Group 4) Nuts: Unprocessed Nuts, salted: "Processed" (Group 3) Homogenized, pasteurized milk: Unprocessed Milk churned with sugar into ice cream: "Processed" This is a search for a scientific-sounding language to describe why one set of foods is nutritionally suspect, but in moralizing terms of how it was created by an industrial system, rather than characterizing food impacts directly by nutritional content or satiety. They can't just call the system "added sugar" because that's too obvious and not morally satisfying.
The Wall Street Journal@WSJ

People who eat around nine servings a day of ultraprocessed foods like chips and doughnuts have about a 67% higher risk of heart attacks, strokes and dying from heart disease compared with those who eat about one serving a day, according to a new study. 🔗 on.wsj.com/3PgXHeg

@kelo6102 @philip_dath @sitiosguau So... you think it would be a wise decision to invest money in a business that could be destroyed overnight by a soft fork? If this succeeds, it means that the Bitcoin community rejects spam, can, and will defend against it, and can simply make changes again and again.

@Brandonwords @philip_dath @sitiosguau how will it disincentivize? if anything it incentivizes it more. your hand waving away the fact that bip110 passing would incentivize a huge portion of commercial spamming.

@philip_dath @sitiosguau That it limits non transaction data. Theres many ways to imbed data. All being much worse for full sync validating nodes. Op thinks that bip110 helps with this but it makes it worse.

Every teacher I know personally is leaving the profession because students have become unteachable. They don’t read, they don’t talk to each other, they have no curiosity, no passion, no interest in learning. Giving kids unfettered access to screens has ruined a generation.
Steve Magness@stevemagness

In 2008, 62% of teachers said they were very satisfied with their job. In 2022, that dropped to 12%. We've got a serious problem brewing in education...

@kelo6102 @GrassFedBitcoin If this succeeds in activating, it shows we can do it again, and again, if necessary. It sends the clear signal that business models built on Bitcoin spam are too risky to invest in.

More people are running Knots than Core 30. More people are running BIP-110 than ran BIP-148. Are we there yet? No. Long way off. Why? Because very few would lose something as a result of segwit. It was just disliked for seemingly coming at the cost of a block size increase (which it also added as a compromise). With BIP-110 however droves of scammers are getting ejected from the space. They will fight tooth and nail to frustrate it and do not care how much disruption they cause in the process. This is why it made sense to act quickly two years ago and not allow the rot to set in. However failure on our side is not an option as this is the last chance to reclaim Bitcoin as money with its traditional *and necessary* hostility towards other uses cases that can only degrade its decentralization, corrupt its developers, turn its conferences and cultural events into the humiliating scam fests we spent years distancing ourselves from. Let's get moving.

@Brandonwords @Altimor You are completely in a time zone from 2008. Mobile Device Management (MDM) does all of that. Intune (although Jamf is superior) and Defender support managing Macs. Macs are more secure out of the box and have built in hardware storage encryption, with or without FileVault.

There is only one slur that is legitimately effective on white people, and its the N word (nazi). It is the only one that causes the stress response, the fear, etc etc. Very few are able to laugh this one off, ESPECIALLY irl. Even those more hardened by internet and the Great Meme War will catch themselves stumbling on qualifiers and excuses trying to PoLiTiCaLlY eXpLaIn themselves instead of just sayin "yeah well fuck you to asshole".

No group insult is effective on whites. We don’t really care if we’re called honkeys, crackers, white trash, gaijin, haole, or bilagaana. TV shows and a few movies tried to pretend we cared so that other folks would have an epithet for us, but I don’t any whites offended by these terms. Actually, there is an exception - racial or national slurs based on a subset of whites, we can get upset at. Like “d@go” or “w€p”. But it’s still nothing like the intensity of racism slurs non-whites feel.
Miles Commodore@miles_commodore

Is honkey still offensive to white people? On the Jeffersons they used it quite a bit. I think it’s funny.

@hammen @Altimor You're not getting it. There has to be governance of end user PCs. Something that sets policy. Something that forces patching compliance. Antivirus. Governance of error logs. Governance of security and encryption policies. Mac doesn't do these things.
