@elonmusk, I can understand how difficult it is to learn about all the ways we keep elections secure in America, and how it might take you out of your comfort zone, but once again, if you'd ever like to discuss it and present your points, I'm open to discussing. As I said in this clip, which I hope you watched, "It's easy if you don't understand our election system at all to invent conspiracy theories about it. It's hard to invest your time in learning about it, it's hard to understand all of the checks and balances, and redundancies, and transparencies in our processes, that make large scale voter fraud effectively impossible..."

Some quick notes re: Biden's withdrawal: 1. The Dems do not have an off'l nominee yet, and do not until the delegates vote. There is no nominee to "replace". 2. Both parties have rules in place for when a candidate is unwilling or unable to serve as its nominee. /1

@elonmusk, again I am begging you to speak with actual election administrators or experts about how our elections are run before spreading disinfo. Machines are far more accurate and secure than alternatives, and with states doing hand count audits, are secure.

Democratic institutions matter, and stand to hold citizens of a democracy accountable to the people and the law. That's true for elections, and that's true for the courts. And our nation stands taller for the men and women who serve those institutions.

Over time, as more evidence, litigation, audits, reviews, and verdicts confirm that Trump lost the 2020 election, his spreading of lies about that election have seemed to exponentially increase, with his rhetoric becoming further untethered to reality. nytimes.com/interactive/20…
