Would traditional insurers have been burned by the TerraUSD Collapse in 2022? Probably. Not because they lacked capital, but because they weren't in the weeds like us as protocol users. The DeFi learning curve can be unforgiving.

That’s why more protocol’s need to either purchase a base-layer of coverage for their users OR give their users an option to purchase cover at the point of deposit. Hacks happen, and it pays to be covered. @KelpDAO gets it and covers 50% of the TVL in their High Gain Vault $BIFI token holders get it and are voting of favor of @NexusMutual protocol cover: snapshot.box/#/s:beefydao.e… This should be a norm in our space @opencover is working on a great solution to make coverage for vault strategies as frictionless as possible, too. Keep an eye on OpenCover 👀
