This, honestly, was a big part that gave me peace. Those Grandkids actually getting to enjoy their grandpa now. That's a blessing for their family. Selfishly I wanted him to stay, but this is WAY more important.

#BravesCountry    Today, I look at #66 Grant Holmes and how the #Braves approach him this offseason: Grant is a pre-arb guy who Braves have control for the 26 season. Pros: Grant is a very serviceable arm that can help you in both starting and in the bullpen. His offspeed may be the best on the staff to go along with a plus fastball. Cons: His fastball though if not located well gets hit and after the 1st time through a lineup hitters tend to lay off his offspeed. He does have an arm injury he is dealing with so concerns are there about just how available and for how long he will be in 2026. Projection: The Braves have a special piece in Grant because if the winter market drives them to get relievers they can put Grant in the rotation, but if they add a durable starter the Grant can go the pen where he can be a super reliever you can use for multiple innings. Thoughts: Grant is one of my favorites and i hope his rehab this winter goes well, but if im the Braves i have to treat this offseason with him off the script because if he cones back healthy i can plug him where i need to. If healthy, Grant could be the icing that could finish off a great offseason for AA and the Braves. Next: #67 Nacho Alvarez Jr. Give your thoughts, guys!! Thanks for following! @acousticstyle56 @TheBustedFlush @Drake__Baldwin The cubs were also in the middle/back end of a rebuild. So they signed Dansby (a proven winner) to build around. So yeah this might be the first year, but it won't be the last by a long shot.

Kelenic was simply the single worst move of AA's tenure so far. Took on $17M in dead money so he could spend 3/4 of his 2nd season in AAA.

@wiljohner @BravesStash You missed the first half of the 2024 season then. We win 10 fewer games before the break without him. He hit over .300 in the first half of 2024, scored 107 runs, had 61 RBI and 20 home runs. He was the only consistent thing we had. He was only all star that wasn't a pitcher.
