There's a HUGE difference b/w saying "A.J. Brown is a member of the Eagles" and "A.J. Brown will be a member of the Eagles."
He's simply stating a fact without addressing Brown's future. Smart, but not actually shutting any of it down.

@NickCRadio How do they use the chart to value picks in the following years draft, not knowing the draft order? Pick 100 has a very different value than pick 65 in the 3rd round. If this AJ trade happens in June the value of those picks will differ, also taking into account a better draft

If you were wondering what it'd cost the Pats to trade for A.J. Brown if they wanted to match this value:
- Pats #31: 600 points
- Pats #95 (3rd Rd Pick): 120 points
Total: 720 points
In my opinion, Waddle should cost slightly more given the circumstances I broke down yesterday, which is why if I'm the Pats I'd say a 1st & 4th is fair value. I'm sure Philly (and especially Philly fans) will pushback.

@NickCRadio Releasing Goedert doesn’t save us any money. It’s a void contract. Extending him will save us money.
Trading Brown will lose us $20 mil in cap. Then we will have to find a WR1/2 replacement when we only have ~$15 mil in cap space right now and no WR3! Just not practical

There is no other reason for the Eagles to push Goedert's void date TWICE than to try to deal A.J. Brown. They obviously want to keep Goedert, but they have to figure out their cap. That involves dealing Brown.
Goedert waiting doesn't help his market. Him waiting hurts other teams' planning, if they're interested. Goedert must feel confident that an extension will get done, which gets us back to...an A.J. Brown trade. 🤣😂

@KevinOConnor This is LeBron’s fault imo, when the best player in the league flops all the time kids watching ball think this is the way to play. This has also made yelling at the refs and barking for calls the norm for star players.

Jaylen Brown is right: That’s not basketball. But I can’t blame SGA for it. I blame the referees and the league itself for rewarding this behavior. It should not be a foul. Defenders should be allowed to play defense. Marginal contact like this should not draw a whistle. Play on.
