@jasonrmcintyre Good to note: Luka had a strong case in 23/24. He averaged 33.9 points, 9.8 assists and 9.2 rebounds. That season, he finished 3rd & only got 4 first place votes.
MVP voting seems to have moving goal posts. Sometimes winning/seed matters. Sometimes defense matters.

Saying he shouldn’t win MVP as a 6 seed when 49/50 previous winners were top 4 seeds or that Joel dominates him in H2H or that he’s not good defensively aren’t hating - they’re true. But I’ve always complimented his offense. He’s special
