Update 🚨: The evacuation warning is being extended to El Rodeo Stables, Brea Hills, Olinda Village, and Hollydale. However, no structures threatened at this time. @BreaFire @BreaCityHall

We are in Unified Command with @BreaFire and @BreaPD. The fire is estimated at 40 acres. @BreaPD has issued additional evacuation warnings for El Rodeo Stables and Brea Hills, in addition to the current evacuation warnings in place for Olinda Village and Hollydale.

Update 🚨: Fire is at about 4-5 acres, actively being fought by aircraft and ground crews, no structures threatened. Evacuation warning given for Olinda Village and Hollydale Mobile Home Park. More information to come as it becomes available. @BreaFire @BreaCityHall

Brea Fire responded to a 2 alarm commercial structure fire at 333 N. Cliffwood Park at approximately 2:45am. Due to the quick work of Brea Fire and our partners from the surrounding area, fire is extinguished and cause is under investigation.

Updated information - July 3, 2025 at 8:35 p.m. The Tonner fire has been contained at approximately 6 acres with no structures threatened. Thank you to our first responders and thank you for your patience.

Our technical rescue firefighters wrapped up large animal rescue training at @TheSheaCenter in @CityOfSJC. This year’s training was extra special, as Deuce, a horse OCFA firefighters recently rescued at night utilizing our helicopter, reunited with the crews who saved him!

This afternoon Brea Fire responded to a residential structure fire in the 200 block of Cattail Cir. The fire was contained to the garage and there were no injuries. We were assisted by @lacountyfd and @ocfireauthority. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Crazy weather in Brea today…some may even call it snow. And yes, we know it was hail. Whatever it was, it was pretty spectacular.
