Despite a recent report showing more than half of Virginia’s schools are more than 50 years old, Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) has vetoed two bills that could have given localities more money to address aging school infrastructure. trib.al/ncKgNtr

Aging school infrastructure is a problem across the commonwealth, and is readily apparent in rural Virginia. I am hopeful that the General Assembly does the right thing and overrides the governor’s veto.
