This is an actual post. This is not funny. This is beyond desperate. This is a deeply unwell man who doesn’t belong anywhere near the levers of power. Every member of his cabinet and Congress is complicit in not demanding his removal now.

On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted. Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness. I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit. I’m not defending Iran but let’s be honest about all of this. The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades, that any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon. You know who has nuclear weapons? Israel. They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it. Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing. On Easter, of all days, we as Christians should be reminded that the son of God died and rose from the grave so that we can be forgiven once and for all of our sins. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another. Even our enemies. Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians. Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace. Not escalating war that is hurting people. This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most. This is not making America great again, this is evil.

What Wayne, and many others don't understand, is the signatures are only needed to trigger a referendum. We met that hurdle, and there will be a referendum. The vote will be on October 19th, and there are no elections that day, just a referendum. That means that we'll probably have a lower turnout than usual. There are 3 million eligible electors in Alberta. If 60% come out to vote, that's 1.8 million people (I don't think it will even be that high). Who's more likely to get off their ass and come out to vote? Those who want out of the failed experiment called "Confederation", or those dependent on the systemlazy who want to stay? The independence movement needs 900,000 votes. We already have 300,000-400,000 signatures. Wayne and his minions are in for a big surprise on October 20, 2026. Keep giving us reason to leave little Wayne @Reil76, you're doing a great job.

The Alberta separatist movement isn’t some unstoppable wave, it’s a loud minority that can’t even hit its own targets. You needed around 350k signatures to show real momentum and you came up with 177k. That’s not a movement, that’s barely a warm up. And even if you somehow crossed that threshold, it doesn’t mean Alberta just walks out of Canada. That’s not how this works. You’re talking about years of legal battles, constitutional hurdles, negotiations with the federal government, Indigenous treaty obligations, economic fallout, currency issues, trade barriers, and massive uncertainty for businesses and workers. Not 90 days, regardless of what Keith says. There’s no clean break. No easy exit. No “just vote and we’re gone.” Meanwhile, the idea that Alberta would somehow be stronger alone ignores reality. The province benefits massively from being part of Canada through internal trade, transfer systems, shared infrastructure, and global credibility. Walking away doesn’t make those problems disappear, it multiplies them. So no, Alberta isn’t leaving Canada. Not now, not anytime soon. And a half completed petition isn’t proof of anything except how small the movement actually is. And to all Albertans that don’t want any part of this, the rest of Canada knows, and we don’t group you all in the same basket! We still love you.

Pete Hegseth fired two. more Generals, David Hodne and William Green Jr., alongside Army Chief of Staff Randy George. Three generals fired in one day. All because they're refusing to put troops in Iran. Do you stand with Army?

@JayGenXer Pollievre was on a trojectory to win last election so I wouldn’t say he’s disliked. I among many hated Trudeau but even though I voted for Pollievre I’m willing to give Carney a chance because he’s moved the party closer to center! Canadians need to stop undermining our country

Hey Canadians 🇨🇦 One thing that keeps coming up after Pierre Poilievre’s Diary of a CEO interview is his personal story — adopted as a baby, raised by school teachers in a humble middle-class home, his father later came out as gay, and he married Anaida, who came to Canada as a refugee from Venezuela. Yet a lot of people seem to really dislike him… while praising Justin Trudeau (raised with every advantage as the son of a former Prime Minister) and Mark Carney (the wealthy former banker). How did so many in Canada end up feeling that way? What do you think drives that difference in how people see them? Drop your honest thoughts below 👇 I’m reading every comment. #Poilievre #CanadaFirst

The so-called "Constitutional Amendment" is just a technicality. After Alberta leaves, the rest of Canada has to amend it's constitution to reflect the fact that Alberta is gone. For instance, you guys will have to readjust the distribution of seats in the House of Commons, change the equalization formula and remove any reference to the Alberta. We'll be long gone by the time you guys amend your Constitution.

@CousineChris @Reil76 I doubt 51% would be a clear majority either but do hope there is a large turnout similar to Quebec because it will be a clearer indication of the true majority

@BreeAlta @Reil76 Thanks for the clarification. Regardless, I don't think we'll have that problem as Quebec had 93% vote in their last referendum question. I'm sure we'll be similar. If we get even 51% it will be a victory for independence.

@Winston10114 @shawn_ashley6 @TalbotLionel2 I agree that Cda shouldnt have let our military dwindle & Trudeau /Fraser on immigration was devestating. I don’t think the US is our biggest enemy but feel we need to set boundries or we will becone a vassal state! Both countries face the same problrms & should work together

Canada has relied on the US militarily for protection for decades. 77% of our exports go to the US… we have been an unofficial vassal state for my entire lifetime. Whether Trump is a bully depends on where you stand… working class Americans who watched their factories close for decades - would view him as a hero. Our govt has opened our borders to multinational criminals who have flooded our streets with drugs, and laundered tens of billions through our real estate industry - driving prices through the roof. The US govt (under Biden) fined TD bank 3 billion dollars for facilitating money laundering. Super fentanyl labs had been operating with impunity. Our govt has decided to turn our biggest ally into our biggest enemy… we’re not the good guys. And sadly for loyal Canadians, it won’t end well.

I wrote a piece yesterday (in French) addressing the reasons that motivated Carney to become Prime Minister of Canada. They were mostly personal (Brookfield). This was one of the comments I received: “I don’t care why, but just the fact that he stands up to Trump and that this orange madman is angry with Carney, I’m satisfied.” Unfortunately, this is how the majority of Canadians feel. If Trump was the evil person the media depicted him to be, how did he win a convincing majority even though 90% of media coverage on him was negative while 85% on Kamala was positive? Don’t give me the “Americans are stupid” bullshit. Libtards still haven’t figured this out, proof that TDS actually exists. People need to stop blaming Trump. The day Canadians realize Trump isn’t the villain he’s portrayed as will mark the beginning of the end for Carney and the Liberals. Canada’s emotional rage toward Trump and his allies isn’t good for the country, but it has benefited the Liberal Party. The Liberals knew they couldn’t campaign on a decade of failures, corruption, and economic decline. With the help of subsidized media, they focused instead on Trump and his team. The country is plunging into recession, but that doesn’t matter. Canadians would follow Carney off a cliff if they thought it would give Trump the finger. The Liberals have made hatred of Donald Trump their entire personality. Canadians are easily manipulated and haven’t yet woken up to reality. If they devoted even a fraction of their rage against Trump to demanding competence from their own government, this country would be in far better shape. I’m most concerned about the bill that future generations—my children and grandchildren—will have to pay for the legacy we boomers are leaving them.

@Martyupnorth That’s what separatists are hoping for but that could backfire for them because the House of Commons will also consider the % of eligible voters voting in the referendum! That said I think there will be a much larger turnout than elections because people want to put this to rest
