The Odyssey DUNE Part Three Fjord Toy Story 5 (it really need to be Toy Story 3’s great) The Invite Digger Disclosure Day (even though I don’t trust David Koepp’s screenplay, the previous 2 Spielberg films did great for Oscar’s noms, this has a high potential) The Social Reckoning (still trusting Aaron Sorkin though) Wild Horse Nine Michael (this need to be a true sensation)

@westcoastwashed @IMAO_ Definitely not. It would also massively annoy the other cinema goers. I say that as parent of a 6 and 8 year old. I have however recommended it to my 10 year old nephew.

Unless I missed something, it really felt like Project Hail Mary could have been rated PG.

@ElphieErivo @MovieMantz It was one of the most faithful adaptations of a novel I’ve ever seen. Obviously cut a fair amount out but the heart of the story was there. If it can get a nod for director, I see 10 Oscar nominations. 11 at a stretch if Sandra Huller got a supporting nom

I’m sure PROJECT HAIL MARY is great, and this is not the movie’s fault… But I’m gonna need Ryan Gosling to take on more challenging roles soon. Seeing one of the greatest leading actors of my generation kind of coast for the past 10 years has been, frankly, disheartening.

@trailertrack Sunshine was my favourite film of 2007. Project Hail Mary was my favourite book of 2021, and well on course to be favourite film of 2026.

Absolutely thrilled to hear that pure original sci-fi like #ProjectHailMary is pulling in huge box office numbers. This is the same recognition that SUNSHINE deserved in 2007.

What a beautiful ending, genuinely one of the best watches of all time

@SocioTechGlobal @NewEraZach It does. There are two major bits I loved from the book that have been cut (one on Earth and one in space). I understand why to keep it at 2.5 hrs but honestly I could’ve handled another half hour as it flies by. But otherwise it’s a fantastic adaptation. 5 stars.
