@lisburnccc Hi. There is a fallen tree blocking the footpath along McKinstry road between Cutts &Wilmar road. A few other precarious looking trees too. Not sure who to report to? Can you help? @PatCatney @SorchaEastwood

Hello from the hospital!
I have unfortunately been quite unwell most of this week. I was on pretty heavy duty oral antibiotics for Staph Aureus in my feeding tube stoma, and initially we thought they may have just hit me hard.

I’ve always been passionate about defining independence, and the ethos of the Independent Living Movement strikes at the heart of who I am.

My heart is broken to hear about the passing of my friend Seán.
We worked on many projects together, like the disability strategy, to lecturing at Queen's and planning the Harkin Summit in Belfast.
Through it all, Seân never lost sight of the important work in disabled rights.
My hearts goes out to Nicole and their child.

Hello everyone. It’s Nicole here (Sean’s wife) I wanted to let you all know that unfortunately Sean passed away yesterday, suddenly and unexpectedly. Sean was a fierce advocate for disability rights, it was his passion and his calling. He never stopped fighting for the rights of disabled people. He faced many battles in his life, and took them all on with strength and resilience I have never seen before. As many of you know and may have worked with Sean, he was intelligent, funny, warm…I could go on. Sean was also a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother. He loved and was loved by many. As you can imagine, we are all utterly heartbroken. Keep fighting the good fight in Sean’s memory - it’s what he would have wanted. Nicole

@GaryHynds Hi Gary. Not sure what service is responsible for this but could you ask if the footpaths could be cleared at the Cutts pls? Lots and lots of leaves it's very slippy and not safe...especially at the lights near Oakwood School. thanks
