@AGretz @Pensburgh My counter to the argument of “this could hurt his development” is that if being called up like this for a few weeks somehow does significant damage to his potential as a long term goalie, then he was never going to achieve that potential anyway .

@kelsey_surmacz4 Kelsey, Dubas should NOT bring up Murashov for the sole reason WBS is in playoff position looking to finish in the top two so they will have a bye in the first round. This will, as they say, upset the apple cart.

I think the Murashov discourse is an interesting discussion - no matter what you think should happen - because I think it brings to light the exact pickle that Dubas and this team are in: How much of the "now" do you prioritize in comparison to the bigger picture for the future?

Really great news for a team already missing its second-leading point-per-game scorer and best penalty-killer/defensive forward. At least their second-leading goal-scorer is now out, too. Truly wonderful news. Awesome.

@kelsey_surmacz4 Sergie has a bad stretch since the beginning of this year 2 5-0 game losses. And several other bad games bringing that kid up and put him behind that God awful defense will destroy him like it did to Bloom last year

In case people are wondering, Murashov has an .897 save percentage at the NHL level this season. Silovs is .894. Is and should only be an emergency situation. Only. Anything else is developmental malpractice. You don't make a panic move with arguably your best prospect.

From Penguins practice: Filip Hallander skated earlier. Full attendance at the main event, including D Ryan Graves, just recalled from a conditioning assignment in the AHL.
