Following a 10-year hiatus, the PGA TOUR returns to Trump National Doral’s Blue Monster in Miami, Florida for the inaugural Cadillac Championship. Marks the fifth of eight Signature Events during the 2026 PGA TOUR Season. The field for the Cadillac Championship will be finalized following the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Players can still become eligible through the Aon Next 10, Aon Swing 5 and Top 30 OWGR. Cadillac Championship field:

Ireland finish the Six Nations having used 35 players – the most of Andy Farrell's tenure.
Farrell had other options but it was a great call to name Darragh Murray on the bench. Big impact.
Some changes have been injury-enforced, but Ireland will be all the better for them.

I would add that Scottie's consistent war with himself over why he even wants to win and then winning everything he looks at anyway is the most intriguing worldview of any top tier athlete in sport right now.

Scottie doesn’t appeal to anyone who doesn’t already like golf. This is what it is. He is making zero cultural impact, whereas Tiger was a Moses-esq figure. But the man’s golf is sublime. It’s an unusual juxtaposition. Scottie actually has more personality than Tiger but no aura.

2026 PGA Tour Age Profile Update - 150 Players
I originally created the PGAT age graphic Jan. 1, before Brooks came in, and somehow posted that one instead of the update. So for those who bookmark, this is the corrected graphic.
Not much changes by bringing in 35 year-old Brooks, except it ups the exempt list to 152 (150 used in the age calculations), and ups the PGAT Average Age up by just over a week to 31y, 5m, 9d (using 1-1-26 date benchmark).

2026 PGA Tour Age Profile - 149 Players (Ages calculated as of 1/1/2026) With re remaking of the 2026 roster, there are only 149 fully exempt players on PGAT this year. Average age is 31 yrs, 4 mo, 30 days. (call it 31 yrs, 5 months) There's a good balance of players in their 20s and 30s (43.6% and 50.3% respectively, while players age 40+ are becoming a rarer breed at only 6% of the exempt roster (with exceptions as noted).
