@brendanmoore147 Noticed on refcam that the triangle had a little brass plaque on it with Robs name on it. Nice touch.

What an unbelievable final this is. Both players are playing awesome stuff under the most extreme pressure. It deserves to go all the way to a decider!

@welshref @tatiana_referee @SnookerRef @brendanmoore147 Was the ref correct in calling a miss and replacing the cue ball in this situation in the 18th frame today? After a few misses Yize was 35 behind with 35 remaining, yet a miss was called here and the cue ball put back? TIA!

I'd love to see a referee offer their time in the commentary box, a different perspective on the game in terms of rules especially when frames become tactical. First name I thought of is @brendanmoore147 if it's one way of getting him involved with snooker again 😁

@SnookerNStuff @janverhaas @welshref @brendanmoore147 @tatiana_referee I'm pretty sure the yellow comes back up and the foul penalty is dependent on what ball you hit with the rest. Minimum of 4 point foul, obviously, but if it's blue it's 5 etc.

Fown to the colours and on the yellow, it gets potted put player knocks a ball with the rest after the yellow drops. Foes the yellow come back up?

@retrofit_andrew Not in my opinion, the referees should referee exactly the same as they do in a normal match. It is up to the players to play quick, not the refs to speed up. That way nobody can be accused of speeding up for one player but not another.

@brendanmoore147 Brendan we saw Ken Doherty being delayed as he was rushing to get late points, because the ref had to stand behind him so wasn't there ready to pick the black out
Should ref rules be changed for the #Shootout so that they stand near the pocket so they don't hold the players up?

You're the referee that I looked up to throughout my career. I couldn't have asked for a better person to be an Assessor with. What you and a few others taught me was invaluable and definitely helped me get to where I wanted to in the game. More importantly, you're a great friend
