My worry with the whole "if Howe doesn't start next season well, he has to go" argument is who do we get? Every decent manager will be in work, no one is leaving a job to come here in September/October, we could have had Iraola sorted weeks ago ffs

@jac_talbot This club will get worse while he’s manager.. we’ve had our best days with him. He’s now staying beyond his welcome. You can see it game after game. Giving him more money to spend would 100% be suicide and set the club back even further than it already has this season.

Shoddy result for Newcastle. There are certainly conversations to be had now season done. Personally believe keeping Howe is the best move still but club must give a proper assessment and see what is the best outcome for Newcastle, not Eddie and co.
