Cucurella is a bad defender with high motor. - Reads passages of play poorly - Does not react on time - Never checks opponents body orientation before commuting It’s extremely hard to watch this guy play football- amateurish mistakes after amateurish mistakes.

Most of us were crying about Spain being boring and too controlling in midfield but they've managed to kill almost everything France tried to create in the middle. Smartly played. They are a worthy finalist and they have managed to outplay of all of their opponents.

Again, every single France player terrible, but talking point should be how great Spain were. Played them off the park and erased what was the best attack of the tournament. One of France's biggest problems were how outnumbered in midfield they were all game. For playing such a high line, Spain comfortably in control when France had the chance to break. Always in position to close the space right away. These are the games where individual talent can only take you so far. Deschamps was outcoached.
