Yes, the offense needs to do more. That goes without saying. There is zero margin for error. Some things are avoidable, however.

Since 2025, Ryan Walker has an 8.69 ERA in high-leverage spots, which is the 7th-highest mark among relievers (Min. 10 IP). Terrible process decision.

@BaseballJeff1 The Giants need Devers to get a lot closer to that career OPS of .859 while he was in Boston. That .737 OPS isnt going to cut it for his contract.

Before today's game, Rafael Devers had a .737 OPS in a Giants uniform, whereas Willy Adames had a .715 OPS since joining San Francisco. That is not going to cut it.

@BontaHill I don't care how bad a team you are. If you have a runner on 3rd with no outs, you MUST score at least 1 run. Giants failure in top 10 in this scenario = I knew they were losing in bot 10.

That was the first home run allowed by Landen Roupp this year. The curveball hung just a little bit, but a pretty well-executed pitch. Graham Pauley deserves credit for putting up a good swing.

Thoughts from Masters: -The Masters is a special event to be at. The vibe/energy/atmosphere is unlike any other place I’ve been to. Everyone is excited to be there, patrons are on their best behavior and it’s truly a privilege to compete there. I certainly didn’t play as well as I would have hoped but more motivation to come back and experience a masters Sunday in contention. -The course really does feel like it fits Rory so well. His high bombs off the tee and overall game lets him find much easier birdies and eagles than most of the field. He has a comfort now around this place that guys like Tiger, Jack, and Phil had. He might have 4 or 5 by the end of his career. - I just made too many simple mistakes during the week. I didn’t make any doubles but some of the “simpler” shots especially with my wedges weren’t crisp enough. Next time. -They do let guys that MC stay and practice. The club asks we hit on the right side and there were plenty golfers practicing even Jose Maria. Some dudes just love the grind and practice. -Thank you to all my followers for the support! And, now they are 6-11. Still only about 10% through the season, but when you start looking at history, it probably does not benefit the Giants. What is the average win total for a team that starts out 6-11? Probably less than 85 wins. Many probably struggled to reach 80 wins.

They also have the worst run differential in baseball at -25. It is only 10 games, but the schedule is pretty tough. Things could go south quickly if they don't turn things around.

The Giants aren't: -Hitting -Playing defense -Pitching -Running the bases well Other than that, they're a pretty good ball club!
