3/4 Temporal changes over the 12-months were also observed for these factors with significant mean declines in cardiorespiratory fitness (−9.8%), quadricep strength (−5%), MVPA (−25.9%) and total physical activity (−16.2%), and an increase in sedentary time (+7.1%).

2/3 Most physical activity and exercise-related side-effects reported in this study can be considered normal responses to exercise, were infrequent, rarely prevented participation, were low to mild in severity and generally self-managed or required low level of care to resolve!
