Hey friends! I'm back after a very long time... I'm building Book Scout for iOS for the discerning reader. heybookscout.com It uses AI to surface positive and questionable themes to make you an informed reader. I'm looking for feedback from a small pool of users. 👇

If you have the time I'd love your reaction to the app. Are you a book reader? Are you getting into books? Does the app feel helpful?

I thought I could build an app that uses AI to suss out what is in a book in a non-spoiler way so I can quickly make a decision on it. Either for myself as an avid reader or for my kids. I spent a year or two slowly building the core product, but ready to get feedback on it.

@IndieHackers I'm building Book Scout for iOS. heybookscout.com It uses AI to surface positive themes and questionable themes in books you're interested in reading. You can also track custom topics too. Plus there's a daily book recommendation feature. Thanks!

Are you vibe coding a project? Post a link to it in the comments! (Also share which tools you're using to code with AI) We'll check it out 💪

Also, if you're a parent who likes to curb books not meant for your child, how do you do it?

Let's say you find a book on the book shelf at your local bookstore that looks interesting. What do you do to research about that book to see if it's a book for you? Let me know because I want to build an app that connects books to the discerning reader.

Organizing a React application that is easy to navigate with intuitive code is an art form. Sure, anyone can learn the right syntax, but I value a developer who combines efficiency with readability.

Wow, @Netlify makes everything so easy. I checked out an old project of mine recently, DND Fetch. I saw my build was failing. Netlify made it clear why. I let things deprecate a bit, but fixed it and I'm back to continuous deployment from my @github repo. dndfetch.netlify.app
