First trip to ‘The Barley Mow’ 1995. If you’re interested how I found this, here goes. My friend and I wanted to find Thornely Manor so I rang Central TV. The lady was very helpful and said she’d find the location for me. I could hear her rifling through a filing cabinet and a few minutes later she said ‘Beesthorpe Hall, Caunton’. Travelled down and it was the original owner Mrs Matthew’s who said she thought it was filmed in Redmile. Simple as that. 😆
