When I started my role, North data was at 29%, SW was at 32%, SE at 33% and Soton at 19%. 10 and something years later- we can see the change. Congratulations to all that helped, supported, committed to this improvement. Team efforts always pay off! 🎊 #learningdisability

YES! #NHS digital data confirming the uptake of annual #healthchecks for people with a ##learningdisability are in. North/Mid #Hampshire 80.4%. SW #Hants 79.1%. SE Hants 79.3%. #Southampton 71.2% (improved). The target was 75%. We still need to improve the #quality! @HIOW_ICS

I shadowed a HCSW in an ICT this morning. For her notes she asked, ‘what’s your title?’, ‘Speech Therapist’ i replied. ‘Can i shorten it?’, ‘Yes to SLT or some people say SaLT’ ‘…Oh that’s what that is! We referred to them the other day’. I rest my case.

I ran my #Mile4ASmile tonight for learning disability awareness week! I really didn’t have much motivation before I went but was smiling afterwards & really glad I went 😃Exercise definitely has a positive influence on my mind 💪🏻🏃♀️
