@kyhighs Jason...I don't understand what difference it makes.. in Kentucky...public high school enrollment is around 630,000...private high school enrollment is around 25,000...so public high schools should be dominantly represented

@BrianSimpsonKY I did some research on the boys side regarding this a few years back & it actually ended up being very close to 50/50 on who won the championship between the early or late semi’s.

I’ll most likely be in the minority on this issue but….I’ve just never thought playing 2 games on the same day for the KY state championship is fair to the kids. The winner of the 2 teams who play in the 2nd of the semifinals only get about 4 hours (maybe) of rest before the Championship game. Always been that way but it’s still a racket to do that I think.

Wow. He is the only one that thought it was a dirty play. SMH. Here is my thing. If the young man is a good character person as he seems to be then your 1st thought should not be you thought he made a dirty play. But it looks like someone had a conversation with Mick.

Huntington Beach High School intentionally ran into a triple play in the 9th to beat darkness after going up 7–5… umps weren’t having it and called it anyway.
