A Trent Lakes man who was prohibited from possessing firearms has been arrested in connection with the seizure of 53 rifles.

And not because he passively received them but rather as the result of an active, aggressive, intentional, campaign to recruit MPs. So there are now two phases to federal elections in Canada: first, citizens vote to pick their MP, followed by the Moroccan bazaar phase where MPs sell themselves to the highest bidder.

Check out this interview where Marilyn Gladu tries to explain why she betrayed the over 40,000 Conservative voters in her riding. She reveals something pretty damning: this Liberal government will only help Liberal ridings. Marilyn, your voters should not be seen as less because they are Conservative. Why do they deserve less, and why are you okay with joining a leader who sees them that way? Carney promised to “work for all Canadians,” and clearly he has broken that promise. Only Conservatives will fight for all Canadians!

A few days ago, I wrote a column about my concern that fear of Trump/the U.S. is our last working accountability mechanism. We seem eager to fix things we're worried he'll call us out for. Other than that, I'm not seeing much building at speeds we haven't seen, etc.

Past party leaders rewarded by voters with a minority government said “thank you” and worked hard to earn voters’ trust such that, when the next election came around, voters might reward them with a majority. Carney has rejected that. He seems to think voters have made a mistake in *only* trusting him as much as they did (despite the fact he has no track record in parliament). So he’s going to fix voters’ mistake with secret deals and manufacture a faux majority. Then the voters will be expected to say “thank you”.🙃
