@BrianPigati @BenGarciaShow Here's my thing though. Can we be certain any of these QBs next year are ready to start when drafted? Let's not forget Beck, Klubnik, Nussmeier etc... were all supposed to be 1st round. Just the way I look at it.

Been saying Carson Beck as a Day 3 pick would be really intriguing. If he doesn’t work as a starter (and likely won’t). He’s a really cheap potentially backup QB option in the later rounds.

The real problem arises when looking at timeline... do any of these qbs fit the timeline. We pretty much all agree these qbs aren't week 1 starter guys. If they arent played till week 10 or 12 is 5 games body of work enough time to not use a 1st round pick next year? Probably not. And if Beck isnt given time to develop or even play whats the point in using a day 2 pick on him. Sucks our GM put us in a position where we had zero develop qbs behind murray...

If the goal is 10m at 65... you should probably have around 2.5m at 50. Let's say you shoot for 10m and only make it to 7m.. youre better off than someone who shot for 2m and only made it to 1m. Also we probably need less than we think. Since we should theoretically have a paid off house and wont be investing more. Plus social security should help cover a majority of needs and the money you invested is just luxuries.

People that say they need $10M to retire at age 65. If you don't have $2M by age 50, the odds are not in your favor to hit your goal.

@BrianPigati @BenGarciaShow @JohnnyVenerable There’s a Steve Keim joke in there but boy I disagree. We’re far away, not only bc our division’s stacked, but we need a QB, RT, OG, slot WR, starting RB?, edge, DE, DT, LB, CB, S3, plus depth behind those positions. This roster is subpar, mid at best
