The 6 stages of mind shifting. 1. Receive 2. Perceive 3. Weave 4. Conceive 5. Believe 6. Achieve It's a journey, not a switch. Lead the way... 💫 a.co/d/buh25xB

If AI is everywhere… why are so many companies falling behind? On March 30, @briansolis (@ServiceNow) joins Digital Disruption to explain why many orgs are becoming less ready for AI, not more. Hint: it’s not the tech. It’s mindset + leadership. #AI #TechPodcast

In 2025, AI written output surpassed centuries of human output. We are witnessing a shift from written record to synthetic and humans are prompting it (for now). Source @ARKInvest

A new breed of Geek Squad or AIT (formerly known as IT) is emerging for consumer-focused Openclaw and agentic AI installs, charging $5-$6k for setups and installs. That's quite the side hustle! instagram.com/p/DV_NF4oCH2k/

"cognitive darwAInism and a futurist coming home." This is a thoughtful piece by @dannydevriendt. Thank you, my friend. 🙏 "This year, after seven years away from #SXSW, Brian walks back into Austin with exactly that same sharp surgical anthropologist’s eye, now pointed straight at generative AI, augmented intelligence and what this all does to our brains, our families, our organizations and our leadership models. His session, “Augmented Intelligence and Leadership in the AI Era,” was for me, the best explanation of the tenor of this first festival day: less “wow, look at this model,” more “what are we doing to ourselves?” heliade.net/charmageddon-c…

You've heard that saying, "when you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail." When it comes to AI automation, that phrase can be adapted, "When you're an axe everything looks like headcount." For leaders, keep in mind that protecting yesterday's models isn't how you compete for the future. You can't automate or cut your way to innovation and growth. And you *will* need to compete differently against AI-Natives.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but it is an honest observation. People are offloading their thinking and editing to AI and producing "AI Slop," which is like an intellectual tariff that we as content consumers or collaborators have to pay as an AI Tax. It makes us do more work to consume than the creator put into producing and refining the content for their audience. Now with Claude Cowork, we are creating a new kind of "vibe slop" that places a new kind of AI tax on everyone subjected to beta testing what feels like "AI slopware." Don't get me wrong, flex that brain! Grow that discipline. Learn! Good for you for creating something! Also doing the work to make something that's usable and more so, value-added, is a key step in differentiation and experience design that most don't seem to take.

Contrary to recent headlines, the future of work is not a headcount story. It’s a design challenge that involves strategy, HR, & IT. And we're not talking about it nearly enough. Here's an example of IKEA using AI drive efficiency + invest in people to drive growth! 🧐

Most people still use AI to do what they already know. The bigger opportunity is to use AI to do what they couldn’t do before. That was the heart of my #SXSW conversation, and @DanCosta captured it well in his piece for @Worthmag: AIQ = automation + augmentation. Here are 10 takeaways from Dan's article: 1) AI’s biggest opportunity is not doing the same work faster. It’s doing work you could not do before. 2) The future divides between people people who think and grow with AI vs. those who outsource their thinking at speed to AI. 3) If you use AI to automate the past, you limit your future (and competitiveness). 4) Productivity gains do not equal transformation. 5) The “automation trap” is becoming the new innovator’s dilemma. 6) In a world flooded with AI-generated content, originality and judgment become premium skills (and assets). 7) The future does not belong to the AI-dependent or the AI-resistant. It belongs to the AI-augmented. 8) WWAID (what would AI do?) is a better strategy question than “How do we automate this?” 9) AI can create new friction even as it removes old friction. 10) The most valuable work is the work AI unlocks with you, not the work it replaces for you. Please read (and share) the article here 👉 worth.com/augmentation-i… Thank you, Dan, for being there and for this incredible article! 🙏

AI fluency is table stakes. Augmented IQ (AIQ) is the advantage. The real question is whether you use AI to do yesterday’s work faster…or to see what you couldn’t see alone. The leaders who win won’t just automate tasks. They’ll challenge assumptions, expose blind spots, and create what didn’t exist before. That’s where the exponential value begins. @briansolis/aiq-augmented-intelligence-takesai-fluency-to-exponential-levels-e498ab37b699" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@briansolis/ai…

@briansolis Amplificar el pensamiento con IA es como la agricultura regenerativa: potenciar ecosistemas en lugar de agotarlos. La simbiosis tecnológica es el futuro.

Early data shows AI can speed up work dramatically. The next phase will reward those who use it not just to execute faster, but to think differently. worth.com/augmentation-i…
