Besides a few months in 2024 Francisco Lindor's inconsistency at the plate has been extremely hard to root for.
Now add the fact the he is performing like a low IQ player who could care less about results it makes it maddening to watch.
But we have to "tip our cap" cuz he's a MLB player and we work regular jobs.

Good morning Mets fans after another brutal loss. Boss sends a message below. Looks like he is gonna be patient here. So those wanting people fired ( Mendy) it’s not coming anytime soon. Nobody likes to lose but I saw some “ green shoots tonight “. On offense, Lindor had two hits including a home run. Bichette got a double hitting it to left field as opposed to recently being right field prone. Benge got a solid hit. Soto started his running progression today. Semien hit a shot that might have been a home run on a warmer night. Finally, Nolan McLean pitched an outstanding game going 7 innings. Hang in there fans, we will turn this around !

The Mets are a disaster. Their SP is mediocre at best, the BP has been mid, and the lineup is GARBAGE. The blame falls on David Stearns. He changed the entire makeup of this team and they are just as bad as they were last year. If this team doesn’t turn around soon, Steve Cohen should clean house. They’ve been a losing team now for 2+ seasons, most of Stearns tenure. And the gap between the Mets and Dodgers is bigger than the Grand Canyon.
