I think the biggest issue with Houston (and Texas cities in general) is that while everyone in the region has access to the regional jobs market, the core cities bear the brunt of the costs of maintaining it

No. If you don’t like the way things are going, you an organize to change it through the electoral and legislative process. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. When you win, you can implement change. When you lose, you should (unlike Trump’s supporters on January 6th) accept the results, and work to try again next time. THAT’S how it should work.

Today, the Senate voted on the War Powers Resolution to rein in the Iran war and help put a stop to the forever wars. This bill would've required Congress to have a say before another dollar is spent. It failed by a single vote.
