@merlinscapital Empty lots where I live in the northeast. Nothing much out there but over priced used cars/trucks. Made a few calls in the last month or so regarding equipment and I’ve been told I won’t see it for 12-18 months

i’m driving by empty car lots everywhere, supply chain hasn’t caught up. yet to see any disinflationary pressure where it matters.

Many analysts are keeping an eye on disinflationary trends that are gaining steam throughout the economy. In 2022, used-car "wholesale prices are down about 10%:" @bespokeinvest. This will take time before feeding in to the retail market, "but is a clear disinflationary impulse"
