I’m running for reelection for DC Attorney General. In my first term, our office has fought for workers, for consumers, for tenants and for our environment. I’m continuing this fight for the rights, safety, and values of every District resident.

March is Women’s History Month. The fight for justice in DC has long been led by extraordinary women—advocates, activists, and public servants who have defended rights and fought for equality. Their legacy continues to inspire the next generation to stand up for what is right.

Huge milestone today! We submitted 4,000+ signatures to qualify for the June 16th primary election -- double the number required and a day early! Thank you to our volunteers and to the thousands of voters who participated in our democracy. We couldn’t have done it without you!

I’m proud to be endorsed by the Baltimore-D.C. Metro Building Trades Council. Construction professionals are essential to a thriving economy in the District and I will continue to stand up for their rights and protect the wages and benefits they have earned.

NEW: We are shutting down two nonprofits that exploited DC kids and misled residents. Maryland Youth Club and Virginia Youth Club recruited kids from low-income neighborhoods to sell candy door-to-door to fund fake scholarships. Instead, executives illegally pocketed the money.

A powerful sense of community was on full display at today's Annual Prayer Breakfast hosted by Covenant Baptist UCCC. The talented Youth Mayors and Eastern Choir shined their light on all!

A positive 2025 trend: safer DC streets. In our first year enforcing the STEER Act against dangerous out-of-state drivers, traffic fatalities in DC decreased by 52% in 2025 — a 13-year low. Together with DDOT, MPD, DMV, and DPW, we are making our roads safer for all road users.
