@Corushii @GlitchyBug_arts @TigheSammy I wouldn’t say a very little time it’s one of the main things making the movie it’s definitely more time consuming than rigging. Anyway my point is the OG comment says “voice acting is done after animation” which is just wrong sometimes if anything it’s in between animating

@BricksUtopia @GlitchyBug_arts @TigheSammy These animating itself takes very little time. It's the character design, rigging, modelling, texturing that makes animation take so long. Not the animating of mouth movements and hand gestures.

@Corushii @GlitchyBug_arts @TigheSammy Yes that’s what I’m saying, animators need the actors performance to animate off of for scenes with dialog but I guess Oscar could just be one of the last actors to record cause if not I see a delay in the future

@BricksUtopia @GlitchyBug_arts @TigheSammy Most of the film would be animated, just not the faces. Plus any additions to the animation to help with expression (such as body movement changes, like when you use your hands to talk).

@TigheSammy they probably used placeholder recordings by animators or their sound director and animated over them

@GlitchyBug_arts @TigheSammy For scenes where they’re talking the voice lines will need to be done first, which I guess is most the film. So most the film hasn’t been animated in that case

Most of the time, preorders aren’t a great idea and a lot of people tend to avoid them. But with this game, it feels like the sentiment is so positive I imagine most people will preorder, I did! Curious to hear!
