Another sound policy proposed and endorsed by the Restore Britain membership... Foreign drivers with no experience of our system are making the road network so much more dangerous. If a country has subpar standards, make it far harder for them to drive on our roads.

This is tragic news for unborn babies, MPs have just voted to decriminalise abortion at any stage. So, a baby can be aborted at any stage of pregnancy. As a mother myself, I find this abhorrent and sickening. Here is a list of the 379 MPs who voted for this 😢 With 137 against this. #ayes" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">votes.parliament.uk/votes/commons/…

The despicable, demonic, embarrassment of the world, filthy murdering NHS This poor poor man 😢 An immobile pensioner discharged home from Russell’s Hall Hospital with no care package died alone. A hospital trust says it has addressed many of the concerns highlighted by a coroner after a Shropshire pensioner died without a care package being activated. Samuel Joseph Brookes, of Highley Park Homes in Netherton, near Bridgnorth, was found dead on April 22, 2024 by his grandson. It is unknown when the 84-year-old died, having been discharged from Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley two weeks earlier. Mr Brookes had been admitted to hospital following a fall and at home. The hospital arranged his transportation without rearranging his required care (two carers, four times a day). Mr Brookes, who was immobile and lived alone, was transported to his bed, where he could not reach his pendant alarm or mobile phone, which was in another room. He was then left unattended for two weeks until he was found by his grandson, unresponsive and wedged between his bed and bedroom wall. An ambulance was called, but on arrival paramedics confirmed Mr Brookes was deceased. He had died at some time between April 8 and April 22.

WE KEEP ON STOMPING! Day 8 completed of attempting to become the youngest to run the UK. The shortest day of the challenge route done today with a half marathon but even 8-9 months ago- a half marathon would have been my biggest running accomplishment. 8 days in and I still can’t tell if this is the worst thing I’ve signed up to or the most beautiful. Just taking every day as it comes. Met an 82 year old women who was on a 20 mile run and honestly that may just be the motivation to keep me going on this journey. Nearly 19,000 raised for mind, dream come true- thank you ❤️ Day: 8 Day KM: 21.4 (13.4 miles) Total KM: 203 (139.5 miles) KM to go: 1,126 (704 miles) Total money raised for @mindcharity: £18,882

@DrCalumMiller Every time my mom went into hospital (in her 80’s) we found a DNAR signed in her notes! She was horrified when we asked her about it!. No hearing aids in place (which were 100% required), foreign doctors having the conversation with her, she was a very compliant passive lady.

I once witnessed a Do Not Resuscitate conversation as follows: - Consultant informed by junior team that one patient "needs a DNAR" - note that the reasons are rarely discussed in any detail at all - Doctor approaches bed on ward round, in bay in view of other patients

We are devastated to say that our beautiful Isabelle died in the early hours of this morning. We are absolutely broken. However, we want you all not to think of her death, but to honour her by living life as she did: fearlessly, joyously & spontaneously.

@SLT_Francesca Exactly this!! I have tried to explain this so many times. Every service other than SLT says the same. But still refuses to write the need to treat his CAS. Now it's directly hindering the EHCP. So the very person that could assist has made it worse 🤯

So worrying 😟 My issues with #SLT is not just the underfunding that I sympathise with & actively advocate for more... but #NHS #SLT will only write what they can deliver as opposed to the need. It's not helpful & also doesn't help with recording figures like this 🤯

Hooray! My AAC training event has just finished! It was great to have 55 SLTs from across all parts of the UK and Ireland attending! There were lots of great questions at the end too 😀 I feel very enthused about the interest in AAC amongst the Speechie community right now!

@JeremyVineOn5 I don't think we should stop young people driving, I think we need to educate them more about the dangers of speeding. Far too many young people are being killed in car accidents, it's heartbreaking!

Is 17 too young to drive? Ministers may soon prevent those under 25 from carrying passengers in their cars. Should they go one step further and increase the legal driving age if they believe young people are so unsafe?
