@BrieNN365 @SJTimes13 No Way Home came out while we were still in COVID. Maverick came out at time where people were still not comfortable coming out to the movies. Maverick got those people to come out. Theaters needed a movie like Maverick. Both movies are great and deserve recognition

James Gunn's 2.5 hour finale as writer-director of #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3 (🌟🌟) may resonate with some, but not with us. More than anything, this film reminds us how far the MCU has fallen. Do you remember how original the first Guardians felt? Nothing feels fresh or new about this. Rather, we're given a film that runs way too long, a forgettable villain, and way too much Marvel special effects. It's at the point where we're running out of reasons to see more MCU movies.

@Great_Katzby That seems EXTREMELY high considering this is not a typical sequel and I just don’t think Dune is the universal property fans want it to be. It’s opening weekend viewership on HBO was less than The Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman 84, Mortal Kombat and Space Jam 2.

As much as I'd love to see that happen, that seems very high to me. Dune was already an uphill box office battle pre-pandemic. I'd consider anything above $500M a win.

As of April, @MovieNumbers projected #DunePartTwo to open to $81M & hit $210M domestic, a 94% jump from #Dune ($108M), which contended w/ the pandemic/a day-and-date domestic streaming release. If D2 follows the same 27/73 domestic/overseas split, we're looking at ~$777M global
