I’m looking at it as a great opportunity for the other young QBs, particularly Allar.
Everyone already knew Allar could really use a redshirt year before being asked to play at the NFL level, and now he gets an opportunity to have just that while learning how to do the job from probably the world’s leading expert in how to play QB in a Mike McCarthy offense.
Even if the team goes 10-7 and is a Round 1 exit again this year, at least they’re spending this year to maximize Allar’s chance at success down the road, so I think at the end of the day it’s good process given the QB market they were presented with this offseason.

Well. The fan in me realizes this is their best chance to win THIS year. The realist knows it’s unlikely. But I’ll still lie to myself and think that maybe, just maybe Aaron and McCarthy can make magic just one more season.
