Somehow, IT GOT WORSE. The person to whom Cecile Landi made Jordan's inquiry, the person responsible for submitting the inquiry at 4 seconds past the deadline-- FIG *DOES NOT KNOW WHO THEY ARE.* They are a mystery phantom official. The incompetence here is absolutely staggering.

Jordan is now the ONLY athlete in Olympic history to be stripped of a medal because of a judging error. Every other instance is from doping or rulebreaking. This is absolutely heinous and devastating for her.

The screw-ups continue in the Jordan Chiles case: I’m hearing that the Court of Arbitration for Sport did not reach out to the right US officials as CAS prepared for last week’s Romanian appeal in Paris. They are supposed to notify both sides and they got the wrong US officials.

@cleverclue @whoisitbad @USAGym It's unheard of. She is the first Olympian ever to be stripped due to an officiating error. (The error being that the official recorded her coach's inquiry request 4 seconds after the time limit, even though the coach made the request within the time limit.)

As far as the MK Rivers of America/Tom Sawyer Island going away, I totally get why it bums people out but I think it makes a lot of sense in terms of all that space and how many make use of it now vs. what they’re putting in. But I keep wanting Autopia gone at Disneyland too.
