@Tony_Villani_ @SHREDmillSpeed Simplicity scares people in this industry. The idea that it can’t be this simple is tough to swallow for most, especially without practical knowledge and years of experience working with athletes. Most people tend to return to the basics because they simply work.

Don’t just ask if a coach is certified. Plenty of letters can be bought with minimal effort and still go next to a name. Ask where they’ve coached, who they’ve developed, and what results they’ve produced. Don’t avoid hard questions just because the answers are uncomfortable.
I’ll never understand a coach forcing athletes in a HS weight room to do cleans and there is obviously zero teaching being done.
Great day in the weight room at Weatherford High School! We have football, basketball, girls and boys track programs working hard. We are blessed with the best facilities in the state!
Currently there is only 1 head S&C coach in football making $1m per year. Yet. Over 75 football assistants make over $1m per year. A DC just got over $3m per year and no one bats an eye.
