This is an answer and part of one of the best threads about our product and how many various ways it is used successfully. All similar yet all quite slightly different. The way it should be.

@Brandon_L_Davis We max out at 8 sprints per day - normally 4 SHREDmill and 4 ground based . Normally when an athlete starts, they do 4 sprints total and then we increase volume/distance/resistance as they progress. Normally will use the SHREDmill to potentiate ground based sprints

Love this statement. So many different ways to use the SHREDmill. No exact prescription. Just like sprinting and weight training, be smart and train with intent.

@Brandon_L_Davis @SHREDmillSpeed Yes 😂 Done it both ways over the last 12 mos. Seen it work well either way. In season athletes I see it benefiting the most by reducing a ground sprint or 2

Thanks for all the comments and "answers." We do not know the exact right way. We know a lot of ways work.

Question for experienced @SHREDmillSpeed users: Say prior to using a shredmill, you had a weekly volume of 6-9 timed sprints After adding shredmill, does that need to stay at 6-9 reps to see BETTER results, or can you drop to 4-6 reps and still see better results than before?

Yes sir. Fix shapes and form and get rewarded with faster speed. Then increase power and ground speed explodes!!! Thanks for the trust!
Brandon Davis, CSCS@Brandon_L_Davis

One of the best parts of @SHREDmillSpeed is you can’t run fast by running poorly. Had a kid make a 2 MPH jump from rep one to rep two just by understanding big anterior pelvic tilt with big back side mechanics will never be an efficient way to put force into the ground.

@therealcam99 Sample Day 3 @RISESportsPerf High RFD, Transition Phase Speed, and Strength Speed aka Powerful and Explosive! #mashelite After a solid Dynamic Warm, we begin with 75% 1x10 EMOM with Hang Clean from Power Position! Awesome for Rate of Force Development, Athletic Performance Specific ROM for the Stretch Shortening Cycle, Explosiveness, and Transfer of Energy. Then we begin our contrast training with all elements being measured: ☑️Front Squat measured by @GymAware 50% x 5 Velocity >1.1m/s, 60%, Velocity >.88m/s, 70% aka 215lb x 5 Velocity was .87m/s well above the normal .7 m/s, 75% x3 235lb was still .84m/s, and then 250lb x 5 for 5RM PR of 250lb at .78m/s. Next week, we’re going off of 335lb versus 315lb. Obviously he’s way above 315lb. . ☑️ Drop Jump + 5 Repeats for Reactive Strength Index with a PR 3.15 RSI on Final Set. @GetWithSwift measured and tracked this information. ☑️ Max Velocity Work with Wall Drills ☑️ @SHREDmillSpeed PR Gear 3 21.2 MPH on Final Set. Stopped on a high. We also worked on Isometric Contractions for specific sprint positions. We always work on Spring Ankle Positions @TriphasicTrain #velocitybasedtraining

Never gets old. P4 College player trains on a SHREDmill for 3 weeks. Goes back to college. Top speed before he left was 19.2. Now 20.6!!! Maybe if all the colleges knew what this kid knew? Some tools great for "assessments." Some are for assessments AND training. 🫡
