@dannyw1989 I think the clue is in the bragging rights. You get a season or two if you're lucky, if you win the Premier League. Whereas its a minimum of 60 years of it if you win the World Cup without needing to win anything after that. Isn't that right, Danny?

@C_ENicolson I remember when that would have been a straight red - tackle from behind with zero intent of getting the ball, back in the days when players were supposedly tougher. Just the way referee Wilson struts around the pitch raises hackles.
