Resources I Use as a First-Year Resident 1. Dose Modifications (Renal, Liver, etc.): UpToDate is the safest and best option. (upToDate will be your best friend😁!) 2. Checking the Most Recent Guidelines: UpToDate and OpenEvidence. 3. AI for Quick Lookups During Rounds: OpenEvidence is extremely helpful when you don’t have time to search UpToDate. 4. YouTube Channel for Becoming a Pro Intern: @ConanLiuMD (Huge respect for what he does 🫡) 5. Studying for the ITE and Board Exams: MKSAP. 6. Medical Calculations (CrCl, Corrected Ca, and More): MDCalc Medical Calculator. 7. ICU Rotation: Marino’s The Little ICU Book. 8. Checking Drug Interactions: DRUGS.com 9. EKG Practice: LITFL.com These resources have been incredibly helpful during my intern year!
