@paolini I had thought the Himalayas would be the perfect location for these. But I wonder if they were any part of your original inspiration for them?

@paolini The images your writing gave me. Specifically of Eragons treehouse in Elesmera was always one of amazement. Unfortunately, my skills are so poor I'm not sure i could do this justice from my minds eye.

One thing I'd love to see more fan art of (or do more drawings of myself) are the elven buildings. I've always loved the idea of structures grown right out of the trees.

@Brisingrthrone @CScott____ @TheTilehurstEnd @ElmParkRoyals Problem is if we give him a couple months, even October November that is potentially another season wasted if the form continues. Brave decision is to be decisive and make a change now. It may not work but at least we can give it a go

Whilst some in the ownership group were trying to claim it’s just an ‘small online %’ that wanted LR out, they now have the two biggest platforms in the fanbase, @TheTilehurstEnd & @ElmParkRoyals calling for him to go. They need to realise the issue is far bigger! #ReadingFC

Lol. Nah, I'm no actor. Besides, I wouldn't cast myself in the role. (currently laid up with a pinched nerve in my back in any case. Good for writing; bad for lifting)

@marcspark50 @flightradar24 They don't...if the autopilot enters "roll hold" it'll simply try maintain altitude and "roll angle". If the pilots noticed the early effects of hypoxia and tried to turn back. That could explain this. As for the 2 hours it's a simple fact that It continues til fuel exhaustion

Bolivian investigators are probing yesterday’s crash of a Cessna 550 Citation Bravo registered CP-3243. The aircraft lost contact with air traffic control about 30 minutes after takeoff and orbited for 2 hours before crashing. Sadly both pilots were killed.

@I_am_Adz @ReadingFC I'd agree it was probably a soft pen, but that's on the ref. I'd say the ref didn't have the best day either. Along with several players for both sides. But to say cheating? That's a stretch

@paolini What about the Brom & Morzan stuff. Is it likely you will be writing any of that anytime soon? We have a brief version throughout the cycle but we all want the raw in depth versions i think.

@twirlywirly68 @lildobe @paolini are you? Paolini is implying that Isidar Mithrim is more than a gem, the tweet above took it as "it's an eldunarí", which is a gemstone-like thing inside a dragon that houses their consciousness/soul

Continental plates causing uplift, but the Urgal goddess Rahna the Huntress raised the mountains when fleeing the great dragon. You need big mountains to stop a big dragon. (Ever wonder where Isidar Mithrim came from?)
riley pearson@Scrublord96

@paolini What kind of seismic event caused this? The himalayas where formed when the Indian subcontinent slaned into Asia so does that mean The Beors where created buy two continental plates crashing together? Im no expert but this seams like plausible explanation

@paolini I read too deep and over analyse but mountain height it usually limited on a planet for a number of factors. So is there some sort of magic which causes them to be so large? I did a quick math on some things you mentioned and it suggested only ~28000ft would be poss without

Mason@Brisingrthrone·
@paolini So assuming The maths correct, at 28000ft, planetary conditions at least on earth, the air would be unbreathable for any length of time. I think it works out at ~7.2% oxygen at the altitude. I can't remember if Eragon used magic to breathe. But what's the O2 saturation of Elëa

Christopher Paolini@paolini·
Ok, let's do this: Elëa is 80% of the radius of Earth (roughly 3170.6 miles vs 3963.9 miles). Given clear viewing conditions, curvature of Earth becomes visible around 35,000 feet. Viewing height scales with planetary radius because seeing the curve is a matter of visual geometry and angular perception. Thus, for a planet with R = 0.8 × Earth’s radius, the equivalent height is simply 0.8 × Earth’s threshold: 0.8 × 35,000 ft ≈ 28,000 ft/5.3 miles (or 0.8 × 10.7 km ≈ 8.5 km) In short, shrink the planet by 20% and the altitude needed to spot the curve shrinks by the same factor. Assuming I did my math right, of course.
Jake@JakeMid86

@paolini, how far up were Eragon and Saphira when they discovered the curvature of the world?
