@SeneddWaste Plaid is not in government in Wales and it has never been in government in Westminster - where asylum policy is set.

@JeremyBrookman2 @DonnaWarburton1 Agree it was unpleasant and stupid (and it’s good he stood down) but I also think the people who are completely outraged by it miss the fact that it is “online slang” and not quite as horrific as it first appears.

@ITVWales The comment is a shocker, but I do feel for Neil, a little. He was the easy target, but Plaid supporters only have themselves to blame as this is the environment negative campaigning has. You can't hold Reform up to standards you won't, yourselves. That's hypocrisy.

@HuwDavies1998 Strange strategy IMO. It suggests they don’t actually want to form the next government, and actually just want to continue shouting from the sidelines. It’s very obvious that if they want to govern, they need the Tories to do well so they have a realistic coalition partner

Can you believe that @Plaid_Cymru just abstained on whether or not the Hillsborough Law should apply to us in Wales? They were the only party in the Senedd not to support victims. Plaid will always put constitution before social justice.

@Owain2026 I refuse to vote for a party when a person we didn't actually vote for is assigned to represent us as our MS. I want to vote for the person that I feel can best represent me (although of course they won't, as they'll always vote along party lines). Democracy is dead.

@cathy_owens It's deliberately misleading voters . It's as simple as that . Take Afan Ogwr Rhondda . Both MPs are Labour . All 3 sitting Senedd Members are Labour. Logic would suggest that if you want to stop Reform you should vote Labour. Plaid hardly exists in Aberafan Maesteg .

Plaid Cymru have campaigned for many years for this new system so that you can *quite specifically* split the vote in a bloc, and still stop the party in another bloc running the government. And also campaigned for legislation to stop politicians misleading voters. I get that it’s a simple message, and Labour have manifestly failed so far to make the argument - and it’s a complicated one - that you don’t need to vote tactically in this way. But it’s going to take a few electoral cycles for the voters to get there, and in the meantime, all parties should be a bit more upfront with voters about what might happen after the election, who they might work with, and how supporters of party x can vote to “keep out” party y.
Plaid Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿@Plaid_Cymru

Only Plaid Cymru can stop Reform in Wales. We can’t risk splitting the vote, so progressives must unite. Let’s build a fairer, more ambitious Wales together 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💪🏼

@WelshLabour This is why you’re being kicked out of Wales. These lies and desperate spin. And on something so important and emotive as Hillsborough. You should be ashamed. You all deserve to lose your seats in May.

The Vale of Glamorgan lags behind other local authorities when it comes to road repairs. Just 210 potholes were repaired and 7.3 miles of roads were resurfaced in 2025-26. Another council in Wales repaired 1668 potholes and resurfaced 57.7 miles of road during the same period. This is why local authorities should be set a target to repair all potholes within 48 hours of being reported. More monies need to go towards road repairs. To fund it, wasteful expenditure like Plaid and Labour’s 36 more Senedd members and Nation of Sanctuary for asylum seekers must be scrapped.

Do BBC Wales publish the percentage of their staff who are Welsh speakers? If not, they should be forced to do so. We bet they proportionately employ far more Welsh speakers than the Welsh population at large, over 80% of whom do not speak the language.

@imaMFbird @CWBOCA @RapidResponse47 What benefits us? Regime change? Dismantling their military? Deposing the leader so his more hardline son takes over? 🇺🇸 and 🇮🇱 are dropping bombs on another country, killing school girls, with no end goal. All this will achieve is generate yet more hatred towards the West.

@BritBollocks @CWBOCA @RapidResponse47 it's odd to me that you brits cant see how this could also benefit you. that it's gone further than 'we wont do anything' all the way into this antagonism like you want america to lose. how do you think that will help you?

@CWBOCA @RapidResponse47 Says an American whose profile photo is another country’s flag. NATO is a defensive alliance and the one time anyone in NATO triggered article 5 (the US after 9/11) NATO rallied. If the US wants to go and illegally attack countries without an end goal, that’s the US’s issue.

BBC Wales, or Plaid Cymru TV as they should really be called, has decided to publish a hit job on Nigel Farage today. Anti-Reform stories are becoming more frequent as we approach the Senedd election, while Plaid get an easy ride. Don't forget: BBC Wales Director, Rhuanedd Richards, is the former Chief Executive of Plaid Cymru. The BBC decided to publish their story about Nigel Farage's cameos, which were clearly and obviously a joke, but have refused to report on the fact that Plaid's Leader literally said “there's no such thing as illegal immigration” on a BBC programme! I was invited today to answer the BBC's questions on the Module 3 COVID report specifically - that was their request. But did they actually want to talk about future pandemic preparedness or the Welsh Government's role in what was the highest death rate in the UK? No! They wanted to talk about cameos. Nigel Farage is a staunch supporter of the Welsh language, as we all are in Reform. And in response to today's appalling Welsh NHS statistics, what did the BBC use as their headline? “Hospital waiting lists in Wales see record drop” >As diagnostic waiting list hit a two-year high. >As cancer performance worsens. >And the longest waits for treatment of 2+ years (which were virtually eliminated in England years ago) drop by a mere 0.8%. What a joke! BBC Wales has lost credibility with the Welsh public.
