@RT_com The US can review what it likes, the UK is a sovereign nation, the US stance has no bearing whatsoever on our sovereignty in the Falkland Islands!

@DownHomeJohn @TheGriftReport 😂 that would be a British settlement, so, unless you’re claiming to be one of the Powhatan, that just makes you descendant from colonisers! Hypocrite.

Argentina’s Vice President sparks outrage by telling Falkland Islanders ‘if you feel English go back to Britain’ Victoria Villarruel declared the Kelpers are “English people who live in Argentine territory” and are “not part of the discussion” over the islands’ sovereignty. She posted “Today more than ever the Malvinas are Argentine” and insisted the dispute is strictly between Argentina and the United Kingdom. In a direct reply to a social media user she added “If they feel English they should go back to the thousands of miles away where their country is.” President Javier Milei backed the claim writing “The Malvinas were are and will always be Argentine.” Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper hit back saying “The Falkland Islands are British. Sovereignty rests with the UK and self-determination rests with the islanders.”

@AndNum26 The Islands were entirely unoccupied until 1765, when they were first claimed by the British who established a garrison at Port Egmont.

@florenciarietto Since when, I think you took them for a few days then got your arses kicked and we took them back. The first recorded landing was in 1592 by a British Captain, over 219 years before Argentina existed!!

@icardo8 True but the English have had a presence since 1765 when they claimed the islands, the Argentines claimed them in 1832 when the country changed from Spanish to Union to Argentinian however the British still had occupancy and evicted the Argentine forces. We claimed them in 1592!

@baruch_marzel The islands are British, we’ve had a presence there since the 1700’s before Argentina was even a consideration.

@irishpatriot91 😂 there has been a British presence on the islands since 1765, well before the Spanish or the United Province and the eventual Argentina. So, no, we can’t “give them back” as they were never yours!

Javier Milei demands the Falkland Islands back illegal UK occupation since 1833 must end! Leaked Trump Pentagon emails now weigh ditching US support for Britain over the Falklands as Iran leverage. Global power is shifting. The Rothschilds are falling!

I am a British citizen, and I will always be immensely grateful, and loyal, to Britain. But if Argentina attacked the Falkland Islands (which is highly unlikely), I won't be fighting in this war. I have learned from the British government and the British public (polls prove this) that any war that takes place far away from our shores (the Falklands are 8000 miles away), is just "not our war", especially that, in over 10 years in Britain, I've never even met anyone with any connections to the Flaklands. Sorry, folks, but I shall be calling on both sides to "de-escalate" and "negotiate". You know, "war is never the solution" and all that shit. Might also organise a few "pro-peace" marches and wave an Argentinian flag. What do you reckon? P.S: I would never do this. Just want to demonstrate exactly how it feels to be stabbed in the back by people you expected would stand by you. On a serious note, there will come a time when the British government, military, and everyone who was ever involved in decision-making will learn that what goes around, comes around.
