@10DowningStreet These frigates were already in the programme. What about the FSS carrier support ships? These could provide work for every yard in the country but you want to give the contract to an overseas led consortium with no work share guarantees.

The whole issue about applying strict NDAs to the FSS has blown up. We have written to Minister and PM asking why these ships aren’t being built in Britain in the current economic climate.

Blundering Boris Johnson launched strategy with RFA Tidespring which was built on South Korea, was delivered late and arrived with loads of problems that UK workers had to fix.
