The $75k Jump Start Stakes for PA-Sired #PABred runners saw a 3yo school his elders. The Betsy Houghton bred Silhoutte Cove rallied from midpack to post his first stakes victory by 1 3/4 lengths. Fellow 3yo stablemate Come Prima held second over favored Wild Vine. Congrats!

The first running of the $75k Disco Chick for PA-Sired #PABred fillies & mares had a fitting winner. Nature’s Candy, a homebred for Jerry Kolybabiuk’s Freedom Racing, pressed the pace before clearing off to a 2 1/2 length win over Pachelbel. Dr. Kolybabiuk also bred the raced Disco Chick. It was Nature’s Candy’s fifth win in eight starts this year. Congrats!

The son of Warrior’s Reward was bred by Copper Penny Stables and is a full brother to last year’s field hunter champion In the Air. Nicknamed “Teddy Spaghetti”, he’s competing with Caitlin Brooks and Grace Hammer.

Fore Harp, bred by St. Omer’s Farm, opted for a change of tactics when rallying from off the pace to nail frontrunning Tarsus Warrior in the $75k Marshall Jenney for #PABred turf sprinters. It was the second stakes victory of the year for the son of Weigelia out of Katarica Disco.
