Appalling service from @OctopusEnergy recently. I've been trying to get them to remove their name off an MPAN so I can sort our electricity supply with another supplier, but no one seems to want to resolve the issue.

@TimSeyfferth @BritishQuinoa That's one of my gripes with the crop buyers. They never send samples of the finished product back to the producers. This one simple action would give us producers way more pride in our products. I can taste our milk,eggs, beef,lamb ect. But never flour, porridge veg oil, malt

Harvest 22 came to a close here today with our quinoa crop for @BritishQuinoa The clover understory has so far been a moderate success, think I will graze it and see if we can keep it in the wheat that follows. Any clover advice welcome!

Cleaning Quinoa today, not a fun job getting this stuff out as it doesn't flow brilliantly. My fault though as I had to pick it up in the wet after spending a day and s bit unblocking the combine after running the rota too slow. The stuff harvested dry is a much better sample

That's the sample we're getting. It will go for further cleaning to get a final product.

@McArthur_Agri @jk_machinery I'd want to see aspiration, sieving and gravity, as feedback. Looks a good bit of kit.

Currently under development at @McArthur_Agri a mobile cleaning unit with @jk_machinery JCC 08. All inside a curtain-sided trailer, one person setup, operation and breakdown. Perfect for cleaning to spec, clean only seed and separating bi-crops. Thoughts and ideas welcome?!

@PamBurrows Oh man, well not so good as it turned out be to VERY challenging! Quinoa is doing OK though as well a several other crops. Thanks for all your help back then!

A beautiful looking crop of British organic quinoa growing in Norfolk, this crop has surpassed all my expectations considering how very very dry the east of England has been since drilling #BritishQuinoa

Here's a crop of British quinoa grown by @No1FarmerJake. Jake has really been at the forefront of direct drilling and this helps us to manage weeds in quinoa as well as reducing our carbon footprint. Just a few more weeks to go until harvest #BritishQuinoa

British 'Musu' black barley being grown and harvested in Lincolnshire by @MikeNeaverson. This year's crop suffered from drought like many other spring crops, but it has pulled through to produce a nice sample.
