Today we listen and learn from the testimonies of Holocaust survivors. We are so grateful to them for sharing their experiences to ensure that the Holocaust is always remembered and that we are able to learn the lessons from the past.

Mala Tribich MBE survived the Holocaust and was liberated almost 81 years ago. As the Holocaust passes from living memory into history, today’s meeting with the Prime Minister and Cabinet is a poignant reminder of the responsibility to confront anti-Jewish hatred and ensure that the legacies of Holocaust survivors endure.

An honour to meet Mala Tribich MBE today and hear her remarkable testimony. Her strength and determination to share her story, 80 years on from liberation, is humbling. We owe it to survivors like Mala to remember, and to ensure future generations do the same.

We are wearing red today in support of the thousands of teachers who do not have a permanent contract. Only 1/4 of newly qualified teachers are being given permanent contracts leading to instability in their own lives and inconsistency to the pupils they teach. @EISUnion
