Because it’s obvious bullshit and CAA should be fined for this coordinated effort to juice their QB’s stock while repping Dan, Schefter and Tannenbaum (all employed by @espn ). What this does to take $ from more deserving talent is ridiculous. Everyone promoting this guy in coordinated effort deserves more hatred.

I don't agree at all with @danorlovsky7 here, but why are so many people up-in-arms over this? It's his OPINION, what are we all suppose to have the same opinions? How many times has the consensus top QB, not turned out? Kyler, Trubisky, Winston, Bortles, Russell, Carr, Couch, ... just to name a few.

I imagine Dan is gonna get a lot of hate for this take but I don't think it's THAT crazy, and I agree with his points. Simpson has better traits and was.. without a doubt.. asked to make more "NFL throws" and put in a more difficult situation. (1)

The gap between Fernando Mendoza and Ty Simpson is much smaller than the gap between the #2 QB and #3 QB, which is a significant difference.
