@TERMINALCASEY I think there is some kind of cheat that could cause this. I had this happen to me also. Reasonable connection everything is fine. I blocked all the lows and poked the shit out of my opp just for them to stand still and do no contest.

I'd understand if we were lagging really badly but we were running between 30 to 50s. And he only marked it no contest when we had a sudden spike to 200??? I??? He was King, I was Victor. Almost won round 1 after repeatedly breaking his grabs and hit a few combos. This normal?

so we’ve established that mid crushing exists but a mechanic specifically designed to crush mids doesn’t exist, which is true! just because a mechanic doesn’t target mids, doesn’t mean mids aren’t encapsulated in the moves that wider crush mechanics target (pc/invincible). 🐵

@TMask97 This is like a 40% combo. TTT2 probably has the lowest combo damage in the series all things considered. (Two chars, Tag Crash, Regenerating health)

Ppl would see a clip like this and go “the damage is too high” not questioning why he allowed himself to get hit with B2 and die in a game with two life bars in the first place. No armor, no heat, no CH trade system… just a raw ass read on your attack timing. What’s the issue??

So, Tekken 8 season 3 has come out and basically set in motion an Armageddon event within the core base (undoubtedly made worse by the discord/feedback form and the horrendous calls to buff characters from players), but out of everything that has happened during this debacle, there's one thing that has really stood out to me; What is it with people from other scenes trying to shame Tekken players for not trying their favourite fighting game? Its the weirdest shit i've seen in this whole mess. This weird obsession to tell Tekken players to go and play other games seems to be all that people from other scenes are tweeting about and my question is why? What is it to you what a Tekken player does with their time and energy? Does it bother you to see them not try other fighting games? This isn't one person either so please don't feel like I am singling anybody out. This is multiple accounts. -Tekken players wanna go down with their ship... So? - Tekken players feel like they won't get a Tekken like experience anywhere else so they'd rather just deal with the mess that is 8... And? - Tekken players don't feel like another experience is worth their time... And?? - Tekken players think that Tekken is levels above everything... Cool? - Tekken players think their IQ is too high to play anything else... Maybe it is if this is how you spend your time. Why do you care so much? Don't get me wrong; the tweets of people trying to be welcoming are fine, but some of you have this weird NEED to tell people that "you told them so". You also have people in comments sections of videos genuinely angry that people still want to try to save the game lol. These people are genuinely bothered that Mattyboi637 is still playing Tekken 8 and not VF5 and they'll give every reason under the Sun why that person is stupid and their favourite fighting game is superior. I am a big advocate for Bleach Rebirth of Souls, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't received comment after comment of people saying, "why you still playing that?".. "Go play My Hero".. "Go play Demon Slayer". How about go and do one? The Bleach community think its in an awful state, but I don't see how it was any different to a few months ago and I'm enjoying myself away from people's opinions (which seems to be impossible for some people on here). Not once have I gone to another YouTubers video and demanded they stop playing a certain game and play my favourite one. Your games also got KBD? Thats amazing. Nobody cares. Yes, some Tekken players are going to move away from the game but A LOT of them aren't going anywhere. Understand that. Accept that. Digest that. Move on. They're gonna bitch and moan to the Tekken Team (don't worry, i'll be right there with them) until they turn blue in the face and if you don't like that, just mute the word Tekken. Simple as. If you find it insufferable, its only because you're obsessed with constantly reading every post about the current situation. Civil discourse is fine but some of you turn rabid because Clarkson772 just logged in to play ranked. They don't want to play your favourite game and they probably never will. Get over it.

@RaccoonPrevails Idk if this is a thing but people on this game buffer a lot whenever I delay my mix of offense on my character they always mash,like if I do a stand 1 stagger then a button they are always pressing,what’s the counter play to that?

@tekken_masterbh @Harada_TEKKEN @nkt_dreamer OK but Jack had safe FC.db1 before now he can do that with mid extension only. I know this is not the same but it is understandable.

One thing i wanted to talk about in Tekken8 is lows being safe on block , it is already considered risky to duck in this game but when you finally read a low and block it and not get rewarded for it is VERY frustrating tbh . @Harada_TEKKEN @nkt_dreamer
