Can someone explain to me like I'm 10, why Mark keeps getting stronger after every loss or beatdown, while older Viltrumites with way more experience don't seem to grow thesame way?

@Marion436842126 Yeah spent the past 2 months going down the health rabbit hole properly, been on the carnivore lifestyle aswell. I really like anthony chaffee. Her lipids are HDl:3.8mmo/l Trigly:0.95 mmo/l total cholestorol 5.7 and in good shape. Am pushing for a CAC to convince her.

@BroeSimon Glad you're not taking statins. I hope you can help the person close to you to understand what really causes heart disease.

I'm finally awake too. My research on statins started in 2008, when my father was admitted to hospital with acute pancreatitis after statin use.
PMDrake158@PMdrake158

@AmmousMD Yes, I'm proof! I had to show the studies to my doctors to explain why I wasn't going to take them any longer. They destroyed my pancreas. They did not have a rebuttal. I do not trust the crime syndicate anymore. I'm finally awake.

@BroeSimon If you are taking a statin, do some research, and ask yourself. Is cholesterol the driver of heart disease ?, or are insulin resistance and inflammation the cause. I favour the latter.

@BroeSimon I can't answer that question. A lot depends on the age of the patient, the brand and dose of the statin, and how long they've been taking the drug. Some people may develop autoimmune conditions which means the drug continues to harm after cessation.

If I got £10 for every pharma shill I’ve outed - and another £10 for each one who blocked me, I’d be a millionaire by now. 🤣

Taking statins for 5 years extends your life by 3.4 days. Read that again. Five years of daily medication. Five years of side effects. Five years of pharmaceutical dependence. For 3.4 days. That's the actual data from the NNT (Number Needed to Treat) calculations. You need to treat 100 people with statins for 5 years to prevent one cardiovascular event. 99 people get no benefit. 20 experience serious side effects. But they'll put you on them at 35 "just to be safe." The pharmaceutical industry looked at those numbers and decided they were good enough to medicate half the adult population.

@Marion436842126 Someone i care about recently got convinced to take statins after 6 years of resisting. If i can´t convince them from needing it, do you think COQ10 supplement is beneficiary? Her HDL is 3.8 mmo/l, Trigly:1.0 mmo/L total cholestorol 5.7 mmol... Stellar if i understand right.

It makes me sad to hear this. Heart failure is inevitable on statin drugs due to CoQ10 depletion. Hardly surprising that an animal based low-carb diet would improve that, but sadly it's too little, too late 😢
Muhammad Shariq Shaikh@4311446

@Marion436842126 Statins gave my mother CHF which ultimately killed her. Her EF recovered from 20% to 35% on a an animal based, low card diet.

@SamaHoole I have been carnivore for around a month and a 4-6 rep enjoyer for even less time, I have seen a 10-20% increase in all my lifts. Crazy energy and will to spend it

How they tell you to build muscle: 8-15 reps, feel the burn, chase the pump, vary your exercises, confuse the muscle, high volume, short rest periods, get sore, embrace the pain. What you should actually do: 4-6 reps. Lift heavy. Rest properly. Progress weekly. Eat. Sleep. Repeat for years. Strange how the complicated advice always coincides with selling you something, whilst the simple advice requires nothing but discipline.

If you add up all the government funding Tesla and SpaceX have ever received, it is only about 1% of the combined value of the companies. In contrast, if you do that with US and European major aerospace companies, the government money they have received *exceeds* 100% of their value!

@KenDBerryMD So getting people healthy quite literally grows the economy. It may not go to Pepsico, or a pharma company, but i assure you healthy people work more, produce more, and therefor spend more= Growing economy.

The mental gymnastics required to believe: - Humans evolved eating meat for 2.5 million years - Developed big brains from animal fat - Built civilization on animal agriculture - But only in 1960 did we discover meat is deadly - And seed oils invented in 1911 are the solution - Despite obesity/diabetes/heart disease exploding since we made the switch The fraud is so blatant it's almost impressive.

LDL goes up on carnivore because you're burning body fat. LDL transports fat. More fat burning = more LDL vehicles needed. This is normal physiology, not pathology. But we've medicalised a healthy metabolic process because the number looks scary on paper and pharmaceutical companies have convinced doctors that the number matters more than the patient. Meanwhile your triglycerides drop, your HDL rises, your inflammation disappears, and you feel incredible. But the LDL number went up, so clearly you're dying.
