I got three new blouses in the same general color today. Lol. At $2 a piece, yes! I’ve never been a pink girl, but I love these new shades so much! (And there’s no telling how many blouses of this shade I have!) What do you call this color?

Now that I’m 39 all my friends are finally having their second babies bc they started having their first babies when I was 37 😂. It makes age seem so bendy. It’s WILD for my bff and I to look at our kids (when her oldest is 18 and her youngest is 5. My oldest is 12 and my youngest is 7.) and they’re proving all the older ladies in grocery stores 100% right by “growing up so fast”, and then turn around and look at our other (same age as us) besties and see them all in that baby and toddler stage that we JUST waved goodbye to 8 seconds ago. (It’s also kind of amusing when they gave us so much hell for “making everything about your baby like it’s your whole personality” and now they are - as new parents as truly correct to do - making everything about their babies like it’s their whole personality 😂💖.)

@korinreid I told my husband that I feel double minded lately because I’m listening to things through the lens of so much I’ve been seeing on here. That’s bad on multiple levels. Lol. Clearly I’m online WAY too much, but also I NEED that manna! I’m spiritually hangry 😆

@Broken_Devotion This!!! My church is so far removed from this nastiness. It’s just so disorienting to see the duality and my social media fast earlier this year was so life giving

@musings_blonde It seems like it’s gotten so much worse since it became monetized, which is silly bc these big accounts aren’t making much at all. It’s like whac-a-mole trying to get the terrible off the timeline lol. Also, SO much bitterness and it can be contagious

@Broken_Devotion I can respect that. I felt like that a few months back, and I put a timer on my phone so I could only be on here so many minutes a day. I also use the mute and block feature a lot, it makes me feel more sane.

I’m not saying I’m leaving forever bc I know myself better than that, but I definitely need a break.

It was actually a lot of fun and I’m really glad that it was me that took them. We needed some mama/girls time ❤️

Help. The school carnival is tonight and my husband has to work which means I have to take alllll of these kids to a carnival by myself.

Okay, so there’s a bounce house before we even got to the door so things are pretty chill for now haha
