With trust in the police at an all time low, why haven’t @HantsPolice released the body cam footage of their disgraceful handling of Henry’s last moments of life?

People are sick of working long hours and ending up with less and less. Enough. Reform is for workers. They will always be our priority.

Tim I must have missed the call from you before you posted this to check facts in advance of comment, clearly forgotten the conversation we had at an LGA conference a few years ago, I also note a post about a horrendous incident you have had this week, with myself having had to deal with a very vindictive pile on by angry national politicians, I received this week information about a serious deranged individual wanting to hang draw and quarter me this week so I sympathise. I know the party he belongs to but will not post it as it’s irrelevant and would only further inflame response. As a media specialist do you normally post like this without asking the other side their view or to establish facts therefore giving them a chance to defend themselves, realising as they are gagged and cannot say anything it is highly unlikely. Maybe you like many others will very soon start to consider , the rhetoric , the anger and the lack of control so visible in national politics and come to the conclusion that it’s no surprise that local politicians who actually want to help real local residents with real local issues are really the champions of politics in this country and not the reactionary , ill disciplined angry people we see ranting every day. Worcestershire Councillors United cross party to stop one man becoming the face of Worcestershire, the party’s irrelevant. I’m sure you knew all the facts like the millions that have reposted and commented on my suspension , although I must have missed the “what happened call from you” Anyway just to help this is why 11 Conservatives, 7 Liberal Democrats , 5 Independents and 8 Greens voted to join together in common cause, plus of course the fact that Reform had turned Worcestershire into a Basket Case that your supreme leader wished he hadn’t even bothered with. Enjoy your day perhaps take a journalism course ?

@tomedwardsbbchw Have the Tory’s just lost their strategic leverage in county. Will this all end up with an apology? Are other councils suffering the same fate, what’s the crac with neighbouring Brum? If the national is removed from local who’s going to fight for Tory MP seats. The Cllrs won’t

The row centres on remarks that were made in a letter that was sent to the entire Conservative Party membership, and posted on X. CCHQ has told us it cannot comment - we’ll have more details on TV today, Politics Midlands on BBC1 at 10am.

@10DowningStreet Today over 1000 economic migrants on small boats will illegally invade our country with god knows how many diseases. The NHS is flooded with migrants with an array of diseases not seen in the UK for 4/5 decades! Who pays?

@andy4makerfield @AndyBurnhamGM Hey Andy, genuine question. Why is this Labour govt complicit in the invasion of migrants in small boats which are guided by French vessels? France are literally a taxi service to Blighty.

Another big rail moment today, as South Western gets its first GBR train. Since coming into public ownership, a new fleet of trains has been rolling out, giving passengers more spacious, comfortable & air conditioned journeys. We're building a railway you can be proud of. 🇬🇧🚆

It’s easy to fix the economy: Ditch net zero - save £50 billion per annum Slash benefits for 3 million people not even looking for a job - save £30 billion a year Eliminate benefits for foreigners - save £10 to £15 billion per annum Mass deportation of all illegals migrants - save a minimum of £10 billion per annum Sack half the civil service - save a minimum of £8 billion per annum That’s over £100 billion per annum saving Slash regulations on business. Slash taxes on SMEs, working and middle classes, employment Slash corporation tax Stop cheap imported labour And watch the UK sky rocket. It’s obvious. Just do it!!!

First meeting of the new-look cabinet at Worcestershire County Council - a Green-Lib Dem-independent coalition. The new Green leader said he regards it as a “new alliance that has come together to deliver meaningful change”. Suspended Tory Adam Kent is sat next to him. 👇

We know that families are still feeling the cost of living pressure, so we’re delivering immediate support. Free bus travel for children this August and action to cut the cost of everyday food. Helping families get through the holidays and putting money back into people’s pockets.

The war in Iran is pushing up prices at the pump, so we're stepping in. We are extending the 5p fuel duty cut until the end of the year- keeping costs lower for millions of drivers. We have the right economic plan to protect households and build a stronger Britain.
