Keeping our communities safe requires cooperation and open dialogue. I recently met with the Acting Chief Constable of @WMPolice to discuss how the force is responding to recent events and the steps being taken to move forward. These include a voluntary referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, a public apology and direct engagement with the community. Progress will depend on continued collaboration between the police, community leaders and residents across the West Midlands.

@SuellaBraverman It would be great to see the 17,000 service personnel who leave defence every year with incredible skills and integrity get a foot-up the jobs ladder, particularly in roles in central and local government & Police where the blob is constantly falling the electorate.

After the General Election in 2024, I spoke to a senior BBC editor, asking them to cover the rising Muslim Vote sectarianism. It included threats, intimidation and, as Sam says below, family voting. They were not interested. I hope this gets more media attention now.
